Celebrity Big Brother line-up pay revealed as one star bags thousands more than rest

Celebrity Big Brother is just days away as a whole new set of housemates gear up to enter the iconic Big Brother house. They will hope to walk away with new pals, maybe some enemies and a huge pay cheque at the end.

The celebrities don't have to be crowned winner to scoop up an almighty prize after leaving the house. However, unlike other shows, the Celebrity Big Brother stars will be taking home very different salaries for their time.

Last year, X Factor icon Sharon Osbourne was reportedly paid a staggering £7,000 for every minute she appeared on screen. The former X Factor judge had originally demanded £100,000 per day to appear as a fully fledged housemate, according to reports, but show bosses were unable to match her request.

And as a compromise she lived in the house as a "lodger" for just nine days of the series. Sharon appeared on screen for a combined total of two hours and 13 minutes.

Her former co-star Louis Walsh, who made it to the 2024 final, reportedly bagged a staggering £500,000 for his time on the ITV show. This year, just one star is set to bank the same as Louis. Here is a look at the reported wages for this year's cast...

Mickey Rourke

American actor Mickey Rourke will be joining the extensive line-up. Mickey has starred in several blockbuster films including The Wrestler, Sin City and Iron Man 2. Fans may also remember Mickey from his boxing days.

The star has had to be incredibly competitive throughout his career, and a CBB stint might be just what helps him tap back into that. It was thought Mickey could bank close to £1m for his stint in the series, yet he will be taking home half of that according to the Sun.

He will be the highest paid star of the 2025 series, thanks to his £500,000 fee. A source told the publication: “Mickey is considered a loose cannon, and producers think he is worth getting their big cheque book out for. He is unpredictable, and they know lots of people will tune in to see if he cracks under the pressure.”

JoJo Siwa

Former reality TV star JoJo Siwa is the second highest paid star of the series. She shot to fame on Dance Moms in 2015 and went on to star on a number of Nickelodeon shows, including JoJo Siwa: My World, The J Team and The JoJo & BowWow Show Show. JoJo will reportedly be paid £400,000.

Trisha Goddard

TV host Trisha Goddard has bagged herself a spot on the line-up list for a very cool fee. The 67-year-old has kept a relatively low profile in recent weeks but is now ready to take on the CBB challenge.

Trisha had been battling with breast cancer and was even told that her condition was 'incurable'. She is set to scoop up £200,000, making her the highest paid British star of the series.

Daley Thompson

Double Olympic gold winner Daley Thompson, 66, will be heading to the Big Brother house for the new series. He proved to be a controversial figure during his competitive days and sources suggest it's a reason bosses have targeted him for a spot in the house.

Daley has reportedly confirmed a £150,000 fee for his time in the Big Brother house.

Michael Fabricant

Coming up close behind Daley is former Conservative MP Michael Fabricant, who has 'been offered a six-figure deal' to enter the house. Sir Michael Fabricant served as MP for Lichfield in Staffordshire from 1992 until 2024.

He also worked as vice-Chairman under former Prime Minister, David Cameron. It won't be the star's first stint on reality TV, having starred in Celebrity First Dates for Stand Up To Cancer in 2017. He reportedly agreed to £120,000.

Patsy Palmer

The 52-year-old actress is best known for playing Bianca Jackson on the iconic BBC soap EastEnders - a role that she has held down since 1993. Patsy Palmer is set to be awarded £100,000 for her time, which is reportedly the going rate for a soap icon.

Jack P Shepherd

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd - who is best known for his role as Gail Platt's son David Platt - will take home the same wage as Patsy for taking part in the reality series. Last series, fellow Corrie star Colson Smith entertained fans in the Big Brother house, which seems to have proved inspiration for Jack.

Angellica Bell

Presenter, Angellica Bell, 49, will also be entering the luxury celeb pad. Having been on TV for over two decades, Angellica is no stranger to the cameras. According to reports, she will bag £80,000.

Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes, who gained fame on the 2017 series of Love Island, has signed up to appear in the CBB house for £45,000. Producers hope his massive social media following will attract a younger audience to the show. Since time has passed on his Love Island fame, Chris has been put at the lower end of the pay scale.

Danny Beard

Danny Beard - who won the fourth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK - may have upset Big Brother bosses on companion show Late & Live last year. They made headlines after swearing on the ITV2 show last March whilst doing an impression of housemate Louis Walsh.

The incident saw guest Danny say the word "c***" before immediately apologising. However, the incident hasn't put off show bosses as they have reportedly agreed a fee of £30,000.

Donna Preston

Actress and comedian Donna Preston has appeared on Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Netflix's The Sandman. She joined Celebrity Gogglebox last year and will reportedly pocket £30,000 for Celebrity Big Brother. Donna is expected to bring the laughs and is already friendly with show bosses thanks to her appearances on Live & Live.

Coming up as the second lowest earner of the batch is pop star Chesney Hawkes at £25,000. The One and Only hitmaker is reportedly not signing up for the cash, but rather publicity. He is said to be "something of a novelty booking" for the show.

Ella Rae Wise

Rounding off the list is TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise, who could spill the dirt on her on-off romance with Dancing On Ice star Dan Edgar. She is said to have bagged £20,000 for the stint, which reportedly has come down to her following numbers. She boasts around 340k Instagram followers while Chris Hughes has 2million.

The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment.
